Twenty-year-old Michino Saki was kicked out of her home by her older sister. Wandering the streets, she meets a stranger in his thirties, Oota Renta. He lets her stay the night at his place after she faints near his apartment. However, Saki is hiding a secret. She is a succubus - she needs the essence of a man to survive.
I've set myself a goal to collect the entire collection of 1/8 scale Idolm@ster figures produced by Phat! Company. Their quality for the price is simply superb in many respects (sculpting, brilliant reproduction of character designs from 2D to 3D, paint quality, etc.). Unfortunately, my copy of Minase Iori suffered from the well-known problem of plasticizer leakage.
Six versions of the Angelic Island figures were produced - Hagiwara Yukiho, Ganaha Hibiki, Takatsuki Yayoi, Amami Haruka and Hoshii Miki, the one covered in this post. Each was sold for ¥7800. This is a slightly higher standard of figures than the cheap Pop Up Parade figures popular in Poland.
I've loved Tokunou Shoutarou's style ever since I read the first chapter of New Game! A few months ago, while browsing pixiv, I noticed that an artbook titled Next Game was being released on September 27! Without a second thought I placed a pre-order. The package was shipped on schedule (the day before the release), but I waited over a month and a half for it (it was only yesterday that the letter carrier showed up at my door handing it to me) - I can't remember the last time it took this long for a package shipped in Japan to arrive.
The year 2032 was a turning point for the idol world. The slow extinction of this subculture was initiated by the breakup of the legendary 7th Sisters unit. The media began to rally to the end of the idol era, and large corporations took it upon themselves to purchase buildings and land belonging to various agencies.
Miyazawa Yukino is the most recognizable girl in school and the president of her class. She has no weaknesses, and her grades are always good enough to put her at the top of the honor roll. On top of that, she makes new friends easily, which has always made her an object of admiration. In reality, however, all this is nothing but her other face.
Another bunny in my collection. Unfortunately, this time the scale is only 1/7, but the price is in the same range as most figures of this type. This means that the attention to detail, quality of painting, and quality control should be on a very high level.
The figure looks exceptionally well, especially if we take into account its price and the fact that it was released as a prize. Unfortunately, as is often the case with prize figurines, the quality control is not on a high level.
The figurine ended up in my collection right after its release, despite the fact that I hadn't even watched or read Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (which hasn't changed until now, though I've had it in my plans for a long time).
This was my first 1/4 scale figure. After opening the large box, I was impressed by the size and massiveness of this statue - at least 32cm does the job. It's worth mentioning that part of the outfit (tights) was made of real material.
When I first saw this figure, I immediately added it to my must-have list. I was charmed by the amount of detail and how well the model of this figure looks in 3D, which is not always so obvious. Of course, this is thanks to Mazaki Yuusuke, because good design and sculpting is essential.
