The end of the year is coming. It's high time to welcome the next one and thus prepare two entries. Summary of the year and recommendations for the winter season. This time I'm preparing some highly anticipated sequels and a few titles that caught my attention in some way.
As I was finishing watching Senki Zesshou Symphogear (review here), I decided I wanted a figure of one of my favorite characters. Confident that there would be a wide selection, I began my search. To my surprise, despite the series' considerable popularity in Japan, there are relatively few figures available.
Kazanari Tsubasa and Amou Kanade formed the legendary idol unit known as Zwei Wing. They use their songs to power ancient relics used as Symphogear to fight Noise - creatures of unknown origin against which conventional weapons do not work. Humans are familiar with the existence of the Noise, but knowledge of the Symphogear is kept strictly confidential. One day the Noise attack one of Zwei Wing's concerts.
Otsuu and The Little Mermaid are members of a group called Dawn, active within Jail - a living prison that sustains itself on the people it imprisons. This prison emerged several years ago after the city around it collapsed. Now, bizarre entities known as Marchen and Nightmare wander its hallways. Otsuu and her team strive to endure these frightful beings.
The artbook has 144 pages in B5 format. The content is divided into 11 thematic chapters. At the very beginning, the author greets us with an explanation of the meaning of the publication's title. Aikyo refers to a charming, enchanting nature or a nostalgic feeling. Enjoy the warm atmosphere of the artworks with unique, beautiful touches.
Konomi's most popular illustrations are the covers of the Liar Liar light novel. In the reviewed artbook there was no absence of material depicting the heroines of this title. In addition, we can see also here the original works of the creator, as well as the heroines of another light novel - Cross Connect.

Another Kantoku artbook in my collection. This time it's an anthology under his leadership with the theme of Japanese sailor school uniforms, or rather girls wearing them. The publication includes works by various artists, not just those of the initiator.
