Introduction

Another FREEing figure from the B-style series has just dropped into my collection. This time it’s the title character from the Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, whose review you can read here. I ordered it from Amazon Japan. It was shipped by DHL courier company, which broke the delivery record – after 2 days the courier with the package appeared at my door.

Workmanship

As I have mentioned in previous reviews of FREEing figures – 1/4 scale always makes an impression. It is no different in this case. This time, however, it fits without any problem on Detolf’s shelves (the most popular showcase among collectors). The workmanship itself is exemplary. Nyaruko’s face looks great. I haven’t noticed any flaws in the painting, and, as in the case of the figures in the tights version, they are made of real material.

Other remarks and summary

There are no detachable parts and no attached stand. It is worth getting some soft material, so as not to put the figurine on a hard surface (for example, glass in a display case). Price-wise, it’s standard for the b-style series. For fans of the figure, or simply bunny lovers, I wholeheartedly recommend.

Tokisaki Kurumi – 1/7 Bunny ver. – Date a Live (Good Smile Company, Kadokawa, 2021)

Another bunny in my collection. Unfortunately, this time the scale is only 1/7, but the price is in the same range as most figures of this type. This means that the attention to detail, quality of painting, and quality control should be on a very high level.

Hoshii Miki – 1/7 Angelic Island ver. – THE iDOLM@STER (Kotobukiya, 2012)

Six versions of the Angelic Island figures were produced - Hagiwara Yukiho, Ganaha Hibiki, Takatsuki Yayoi, Amami Haruka and Hoshii Miki, the one covered in this post. Each was sold for ¥7800. This is a slightly higher standard of figures than the cheap Pop Up Parade figures popular in Poland.

Minase Iori – 1/8 – THE iDOLM@STER (Phat Company, 2014)

I've set myself a goal to collect the entire collection of 1/8 scale Idolm@ster figures produced by Phat! Company. Their quality for the price is simply superb in many respects (sculpting, brilliant reproduction of character designs from 2D to 3D, paint quality, etc.). Unfortunately, my copy of Minase Iori suffered from the well-known problem of plasticizer leakage.

Miura Azusa – 1/8 – THE iDOLM@STER (Phat Company, 2016)

When I first saw this figure, I immediately added it to my must-have list. I was charmed by the amount of detail and how well the model of this figure looks in 3D, which is not always so obvious. Of course, this is thanks to Mazaki Yuusuke, because good design and sculpting is essential.
