Kantoku – Imouto sae Ireba Ii. Art Works (Shogakukan, 2020)

This time, the review focuses on an artbook featuring the characters from a light novel called Imouto sae Ireba Ii. The visual part was handled by Kantoku. Most people probably know this title from the anime adaptation. Unfortunately, to put it mildly, it did not even come close to completing the source material. Nor is there likely to be any hope for a second season anymore.
Bakuten Shoot Beyblade / 爆転シュートベイブレード (2001)

Kinomiya Takao is a young boy whose passion is Beyblade, a game in which players compete against each other using spinning discs. Takao dreams of becoming a Beyblade champion and together with his friends forms a team called BBA. Together they travel around the world, taking part in various tournaments where they face various challenges. During their adventure, they meet another talented player called Hiwatari Kai, who later joins BBA.

Tachibana Arisu and several of her female colleagues are embarking on careers as professional idols. Their dream has just come true. They have been assigned a Producer to take care of them and take care of promotions. The girls’ excitement leads them to heavily idealize his image in anticipation of their first meeting.

The Best Summer 2023 Anime Series That I Recommend

Behind the window the unmerciful heat makes it known that it is time to write a summer recommendation. After the abundance served up in the spring, the next season gives some rest. However, this does not mean that the summer 2023 anime season will lack interesting titles. This time I managed to choose twelve series that seem interesting enough for me to check out.
New Love Plus+ 3DS LL Nene Deluxe Set (Konami 2014)

The focus of the entry is something that can be called the Holy Grail. It is a limited edition Nintendo 3DS console with design from the game New Love Plus+ available exclusively in Japan.
Umi Monogatari: Anata ga Ite Kureta Koto / うみものがたり ~あなたがいてくれたコト~ (2009)

Marin and her younger sister Urin are sea-dwelling people. One day they find a beautiful silver ring near their home. Marin, wanting to return it to its owner, takes the hesitant Urin with her to the surface world. She does this despite her knowledge of the legend of the turtle old man who left the bottom of the sea and never returned.
Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de / 君が主で執事が俺で (2008)

Due to family troubles, Uesugi Ren and his sister Mihato run away from home without a plan for the future. Together they move to the city, but are short of money. Several coincidences lead them to meet Kuonji Miyu, a girl who comes from a rich household.
Komeshiro Kasu – Girls Planet (Genkosha, 2022)

The artbook, titled Girls Planet by Komeshiro Kasu, features mostly original illustrations by the artist. It counts 176 pages in A4 format. Printed – traditionally on high-quality, thick paper.
Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne / お兄ちゃんだけど愛さえあれば関係ないよねっ (2012)

After the death of Himenokouji’s parents, Akito and Akiko were forced to live with separate families for six years. They finally manage to find each other and start living together. It quickly becomes apparent that Akiko has romantic feelings for her older brother, but Akito sees her only as a younger sister.
Eris Boreas Greyrat – Okigae Mode – 1/7 – Mushoku Tensei (Ques Q, 2023)

Another Eris figurine in my collection. Both of them (including the previous one from CA Works, which I recently reviewed here) I wanted to have in my display cabinet as soon as I saw them for the first time. Fortunately, the sale was not heavily limited, so I was able to purchase them without any problems.
Kimagure Orange Road / きまぐれオレンジ☆ロード (1987)

Fifteen-year-old Kasuga Kyousuke moves frequently due to his family situation. Both he and his two younger sisters have supernatural abilities inherited from their mother, the public disclosure of which forces them to relocate. On his first day in the new city, he meets a beautiful girl, catching a hat that the wind has blown off her head. He spends the entire night pondering, building himself an ideal image of her.
