Tokisaki Kurumi – 1/7 (Alluring Kimono Ver.) – Date a Live (KDColle, 2020) – My Comment
Introduction
Another 1/7th scale Kurumi figure has landed in my collection. This time dressed in kimono. As soon as I saw it, I just couldn’t resist and it immediately ended up in my shopping basket.
Workmanship
The figurine was priced at ¥20000, and the quality of workmanship leaves no doubts that it is worth the price. The painting and shading was perfectly applied, and the attention to detail was excellent as well. I haven’t noticed absolutely no imperfections. Plus the amount of detail is really impressive. The figure looks amazing in my collection and catches my eye. Even though its size is comparable to most other figures I own. There were also no problems with mounting it in the base – everything fits perfectly.
Other remarks and summary
I have the impression that the box is a bit bigger than those of other manufacturers selling figures of the same scale. Of course, the whole thing was properly protected with foil and plastic, so there’s no question of it getting damaged in transit, unless a steamroller rolls over our package.
I highly recommend this product to all Date a Live or Tokisaki Kurumi fans and collectors of figures with traditional Japanese accents. You will definitely not be disappointed with the purchase. The figure itself looks even better in reality than on the pictures below. You can still buy it without any problems (Solaris Japan or Japanese Amazon).
