Mizuhara Chizuru – 1/4 B-style / Bunny – Kanojo Okarishimasu (FREEing, 2022) – My Comment

Introduction

I can already confidently say that I have become addicted to FREEing’s B-Style (Bunny) series figures. Every time I look at the new bunny releases and see my favorite characters. I just couldn’t resist adding to my cart as soon as I saw that Mizuhara Chizuru got her place among other heroines dressed up in these outfits. Here we have additionally a beautiful red and shiny type

Workmanship

The build quality is not completely different from other FREEing figures from the B-Style /Bunny series in 1/4 scale. Attention to detail stands at a really high level. The body sculpt is simply beautiful. Painting is basically perfect. The paint was applied to each element with amazing accuracy. I also can’t complain about how the face looks (the most common problem of all kinds of figures in all kinds of price ranges). A minor problem, however, was the seating of the figure in the included stand. No matter what I did, I couldn’t insert the base into the holes prepared in Chizuru’s shoes fully. This can be seen in several photos below. I’m a bit surprised by this fact, because the figures in this series never had this problem. I also haven’t noticed people writing about this anywhere.

Other remarks and summary

As with all 1/4 scale figures – the box was quite tall (almost 50 cm). In this case again – this height means that even without bunny ears (you can pull them out) it will not go on any shelf to the most popular showcase among collectors – Detolf from Ikea. This is something you should definitely keep in mind when ordering B-Style / Bunny figures in this pose, as it will not go into any standard shelf. So I recommend taking proper measurements, then and only then add to the shopping cart in the store. For fans of the Mizuhara Chizuru figures, the Kanojo Okarishimasu series or simply bunny lovers, I again recommend wholeheartedly.

Yoshida Yuuko – 1/7 Swimsuit Ver. – Machikado Mazoku(Kotobukiya, Medicos Entertainment, 2021)

Machikado Mazoku is one of my favorite yonkoma published in Manga Time Kirara. It also has a brilliant anime adaptation that makes it even more enjoyable to watch, primarily because of how phenomenally the voice actors did their job (especially Kohara Konomi as the main character). Anyway, I already wrote a review on the adaptation, which you can read here. However, I didn't have a figurine representing any of the heroines so far, so it was about time to get one.

Eris Boreas Greyrat Swimsuit Ver. – 1/7 – Mushoku Tensei (CA Works, 2023)

Since I liked Mushoku Tensei from the very first episode, my collection could not lack a figurine of my favorite character. Let me just mention that in the near future I will receive a shipment with another figurine depicting Eris, so its review will also appear.

Tokisaki Kurumi – 1/7 (Alluring Kimono Ver.) – Date a Live (KDColle, 2020)

Another 1/7th scale Kurumi figure has landed in my collection. This time dressed in kimono. As soon as I saw it, I just couldn't resist and it immediately ended up in my shopping basket. The figurine was priced at ¥20000, and the quality of workmanship leaves no doubts that it is worth the price.

Shokuhou Misaki – B-style 1/4 – To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (FREEing, 2022)

I ordered the figure as a preorder somewhere around the middle of last year and received it a few days ago (unfortunately, the package was sent by mail, so the waiting time was over two weeks instead of five days). This is another FREEing B-style figure in my collection. In this case, however, I was surprised by its size. The box itself was already quite tall - I wasn't expecting such a height after all (almost 50 cm).
