Introduction

I’ve been hunting for this figure for a long time. I didn’t manage to preorder it a few years ago. Unfortunately, either the prices were sky high, or the sellers offered really expensive shipping options. The box is quite massive, after all. Until recently – I managed to buy it at quite a reasonable price. In the version I wanted. There is also one without tights.

Workmanship

Having another figure from the bunny series. Ryouko from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu was already reviewed here. I wasn’t really worried about the quality. The only problem encountered with older b-style figures is plasticizer leakage. A problem I explained in more detail in this review. In the case of Mikan, I haven’t noticed any problems (at least at this point). Any figure in this scale (1/4) is impressive when you look at it. Thirty centimeters tall makes it look beautiful against the others placed in the display case (I use detolfs from Ikea, as most collectors do). In reality it looks much better than in the pictures I’ve seen before. It’s worth mentioning that part of the outfit (the tights) is made of real material (as is the case with every FREEing figurine released as B-style).
I can’t complain about the details and the quality of the painting. These aspects came out perfectly. If I really had to complain about something, you can see some minor scuffs in the plastic on the hair in close-ups. But I only noticed this when I edited the photos, so I doubt it would be a dealbreaker for anyone.

Other remarks and summary

For To LOVE-Ru and Yuuki Mikan fans I probably don’t have to recommend it anyway. If someone just likes this particular piece and is thinking about buying it – there is nothing else I can do but to wholeheartedly recommend it.

Minami Natsuno & BJ – 1/8 – Juusan Kihei Boueiken (Kotobukiya, 2021)

Minami Natsuno is a character from the game Juusan Kihei Boueiken, known in the west as 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. As this is one of the greatest titles I've ever played, I can't imagine not having at least one figure with a character from this masterpiece. While I liked all of the characters, Natsuno was the one that stuck out to me the most, and I really liked her, along with her robotic companion BJ, who was also included in the set.

Minase Iori – 1/8 – THE iDOLM@STER (Phat Company, 2014)

I've set myself a goal to collect the entire collection of 1/8 scale Idolm@ster figures produced by Phat! Company. Their quality for the price is simply superb in many respects (sculpting, brilliant reproduction of character designs from 2D to 3D, paint quality, etc.). Unfortunately, my copy of Minase Iori suffered from the well-known problem of plasticizer leakage.

Eris Boreas Greyrat Swimsuit Ver. – 1/7 – Mushoku Tensei (CA Works, 2023)

Since I liked Mushoku Tensei from the very first episode, my collection could not lack a figurine of my favorite character. Let me just mention that in the near future I will receive a shipment with another figurine depicting Eris, so its review will also appear.

Nyaruko – B-style 1/4 – Haiyore! Nyaruko-san (FREEing, 2015)

Another FREEing figure from the B-style series has just dropped into my collection. This time it's the title character from the Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, whose review you can read here. I ordered it from Amazon Japan, and it was shipped by DHL courier company, which broke the delivery record - after 2 days the courier with the package appeared at my door.
