Takemoto Uruka – 1/7 – Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (Phat Company, 2022) – My Comment

Introduction

It’s hard not to buy a figurine portraying your favorite character from a series, especially when the series itself is held in high regard. In addition, I am used to the quality of Phat! Company products, so I ordered this figure without a second thought.

Workmanship

As usual, the fitting of the elements, including the base itself, was perfect. The quality of the painting is no different. I haven’t noticed any defects. Individual elements of clothing are perfectly separated from the body, even if I wanted to. I can’t spot even the smallest mistake (although at this price there could be some shading, at least on clothing). The hair doesn’t have any jaggedness resulting from sloppy molding. The figure itself was a bit dusty out of the box though. As you can see in some of the shots below). The only thing I could complain about is the facial sculpt – when you look at the face from certain angles, you can see that something is slightly wrong.

Other remarks and summary

Judging the whole thing – in this price range, the overall build quality is satisfying. I highly recommend it – the figurine looks great in a display case and doesn’t take up much space, so if you have a problem with placing new figurines on detolf shelves, this one can be easily placed anywhere.

Misaka Mikoto – B-style 1/4 – To Aru Kagaku no Railgun T (FREEing, 2022)

A few days ago, a DHL courier showed up at my door with the shipment. So I welcomed another 1/4 scale B-Style FREEing's figure in my collection. As with the Shokuhou Misaki (also from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun T) reviewed earlier this year- its size impressed me. It may not have been as surprising as Misaki, however, there was still a "wow" effect.

Milim Nava / Rimuru Tempest – 1/7 – Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (With Fans!)

The figurine ended up in my collection right after its release, despite the fact that I hadn't even watched or read Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (which hasn't changed until now, though I've had it in my plans for a long time).

Tokisaki Kurumi – 1/7 Bunny ver. – Date a Live (Good Smile Company, Kadokawa, 2021)

Another bunny in my collection. Unfortunately, this time the scale is only 1/7, but the price is in the same range as most figures of this type. This means that the attention to detail, quality of painting, and quality control should be on a very high level.

Shokuhou Misaki – B-style 1/4 – To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (FREEing, 2022)

I ordered the figure as a preorder somewhere around the middle of last year and received it a few days ago (unfortunately, the package was sent by mail, so the waiting time was over two weeks instead of five days). This is another FREEing B-style figure in my collection. In this case, however, I was surprised by its size. The box itself was already quite tall - I wasn't expecting such a height after all (almost 50 cm).
