Introduction

I really like the figures made by Phat! Company. They usually feature very high quality workmanship and come at a pretty decent price.

Workmanship

I was a little worried when reading the comments about how her face looks. A lot of people have complained about that. When I opened the box, I noticed that the design is a bit closer to what the character looks like in the source material of the adaptation (manga) than what style Silverlink and most fanart has adopted. In any case, I don’t see anything wrong with this look of the face. The whole figure looks really awesome. Great attention to detail and shading. The hair could have had a bit more detail though. Especially since you can see every little wrinkle on the clothes themselves. But it’s compensated by the accessories used in Chinese traditional dresses (qipao) and their excellent painting. Speaking of painting – everything else looks simply gorgeous. Pictures can’t do it justice, you have to see it with your own eyes in a good light.

Other remarks and summary

There was no problem with fitting the figure into the base. ¥14800 is the price at which it was initially sold. It’s certainly not the lowest, but in this price category you’re getting a really decently made product and it’s hard to find anything to complain about. I wholeheartedly recommend this figure to every fan of Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA, fans of the character itself as well as collectors of statues dressed in traditional Chinese costumes. I am confident that you will not be disappointed.

Minami Natsuno & BJ – 1/8 – Juusan Kihei Boueiken (Kotobukiya, 2021)

Minami Natsuno is a character from the game Juusan Kihei Boueiken, known in the west as 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. As this is one of the greatest titles I've ever played, I can't imagine not having at least one figure with a character from this masterpiece. While I liked all of the characters, Natsuno was the one that stuck out to me the most, and I really liked her, along with her robotic companion BJ, who was also included in the set.

Miura Azusa – 1/8 – THE iDOLM@STER (Phat Company, 2016)

When I first saw this figure, I immediately added it to my must-have list. I was charmed by the amount of detail and how well the model of this figure looks in 3D, which is not always so obvious. Of course, this is thanks to Mazaki Yuusuke, because good design and sculpting is essential.
