Eris Boreas Greyrat Swimsuit Ver. – 1/7 – Mushoku Tensei (CA Works, 2023) – My Comment

Introduction

Since I liked Mushoku Tensei from the very first episode, my collection could not lack a figurine of my favorite character. Let me just mention that in the near future I will receive a shipment with another figurine depicting Eris, so its review will also appear.

Eris Boreas Greyrat Swimsuit Ver. – 1/7 – Mushoku Tensei (CA Works, 2023) – Workmanship

This is my first figurine from CA Works. When I looked at their other products, I got the impression that they were not as high quality as this particular figure, the subject of this review. This is especially evident in the promotional photos. In any case, I had some concerns when placing my order. I hasten to inform you that at this price you get a really high quality product. Minor shortcomings can only be seen in the photos at high zoom. It was not without dust particles (which I also noticed only when processing the photos). I have a habit of washing only used figures before taking photos for review. It was no different in this case . The photo shoot below shows Eris right after taking her out of the box.

The figure is heavy. Subjectively, almost as heavy as the 1/4 scale ones. Probably before how the clothing was modeled and how much extra PVC was needed. The painting looks great and is done very carefully. A lot of shading, including on the skin itself. You can also see the difference in shading on the hair, for which a big plus. Why? Nany figures in this price range skip the hair shading.

Other remarks and summary

Placing Eris in the stand did not require wrestling with the holes prepared for it. The entire figure was supported by a metal piece with a plastic support that takes the weight of the back of the figure by resting the heroine’s left leg on it.

Yoshida Yuuko – 1/7 Swimsuit Ver. – Machikado Mazoku(Kotobukiya, Medicos Entertainment, 2021)

Machikado Mazoku is one of my favorite yonkoma published in Manga Time Kirara. It also has a brilliant anime adaptation that makes it even more enjoyable to watch, primarily because of how phenomenally the voice actors did their job (especially Kohara Konomi as the main character). Anyway, I already wrote a review on the adaptation, which you can read here. However, I didn't have a figurine representing any of the heroines so far, so it was about time to get one.

Hoshii Miki – 1/7 Angelic Island ver. – THE iDOLM@STER (Kotobukiya, 2012)

Six versions of the Angelic Island figures were produced - Hagiwara Yukiho, Ganaha Hibiki, Takatsuki Yayoi, Amami Haruka and Hoshii Miki, the one covered in this post. Each was sold for ¥7800. This is a slightly higher standard of figures than the cheap Pop Up Parade figures popular in Poland.

Nyaruko – B-style 1/4 – Haiyore! Nyaruko-san (FREEing, 2015)

Another FREEing figure from the B-style series has just dropped into my collection. This time it's the title character from the Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, whose review you can read here. I ordered it from Amazon Japan, and it was shipped by DHL courier company, which broke the delivery record - after 2 days the courier with the package appeared at my door.

Nemesis – B-style 1/4 – To LOVE-Ru (FREEing, 2022)

As soon as I saw the announcement of this figure, I instantly wished to have it in my collection. Even in the first pictures it already looked brilliant. Unfortunately, I forgot to pre-order and after the release I already doubted whether I would be able to buy it at the price the manufacturer suggested.
